Emotional Intelligent

I haven't posted for a while, this is because I was too busy in the past few weeks, real life is way too hard, and if you don't catch up, you will lose things, and trust me, it won't give you many chances.

Anyway, when I was a kid, I used to analyse people's reactions, I had the ability to predict what reactions some one will make when he faces a certain situation, I could know what others think, how do they exactly feel toward things.

I do not know if I should call it a Gift or a Curse, or both, I always think before I say something, this is because I know how each word will affect the person I am talking to, the funny thing, I can use this to make people feel like shit, sometimes, few people I know try to disturb me, and I can make them feel so bad about themselves, because I am able to say the words that affects them the most, I know how do they feel at that moment, and I can choose words to make them feel worse, but I usually don't, maybe I am a good person, maybe I don't like to hurt others.

From what I learned, People tend to like spontaneous, here the curse part, because I simply cannot be a spontaneous person, usually when I meet new people, it takes quite some time before they get use to me, they usually think I am a complex person, or a bigot, they think I have goals behind my words, while I usually don't, I used to live with it now, but some times I just wish I never had this Gift, or Curse? 

The Drapery Falls

A note before you start reading, If you read the first line of this post & didn't understand what the hell I am talking about, then stop reading it, you won't understand it unless you have been through it.

Have you ever met someone who shake the core foundation of your self? Because when you do, you enter a conflict between you and your self! you start thinking day and night, you cannot sleep well, & you fall into depression, you get a very strange feeling toward yourself, mixed between hate & love, some times hatred.

You know, when spending 20, 40, 60 years hoping that we will not face our weaknesses, but deeply inside we know it is about time...  the day comes, & we meat that person who represent one of our weaknesses, he makes us angry at ourselves, because we know about this weakness & we tried many times to change ourselves, but we never succeeded. The irony is that we start to  think of that person & we get a strong feeling (I think it is Curiosity) which pushes us to know this person more & more, maybe it is the curiosity to know more about our weaknesses, maybe this will help us to understand ourselves better.

Each day our feelings increase, we become worried all the time, thinking about that person, and how he/ she could shake our core foundation, self confidence decreases, we feel like shit about ourselves...

Our characters are no longer stable, & we struggle to make it stable once again, so we might follow the easy solution & stop seeing this person (we always run, sadly), we eliminate him from our life!, some people decide to face, pushing that person to lie on them to feel better toward themselves, others, release a simple fact, that this person who represent your weakness, has a weakness, they might meet him in his weakness moment, when they do, they feel they are even, they realize that non of us perfect, every one suffers, at that moment they rejoice, and once again, we are stable.

Elite People!

Elite People, Hardcore, Best of the Best & many other names, those people are like any other precious thing in the world, they are so damn rare! They were designed, or better, they developed their selves to carry the hard work, take the responsibility, they do not fear to be responsible, in fact, they love responsibility, they know the real way to self satisfaction.

Now, if you want to know what Elite People really mean, ask your self "Whom the people I can count on?" or let me ask you, is there some one in your life that you ask him to do something without expecting answers like "I didn't do it, or I forgot, or I will do it tomorrow, forgive me I've been busy" if you have some one in you mind now, then he is Elite (to you at least). Elite People generally do not whine or complain about things, they have Passion toward work & doing things right, they can manage their time in a very successful way to do things in the best possible way.

Elite People can be found generally in areas where you need to depend on your self in a very early stage of life, where you need to struggle & work very hard to get money to live. I can safely say that all prophets were Elites, one Elite can change the world, imagine a group of Elites together? they can do the impossible, but you barely find them, how about when it comes to create group of them?!

Look at the history, every huge event in the history is done by small group of people who took the first step, I can write ten pages about those people, but to summarize, Elite people are the people who have the passion to do work, who carry responsibility without complaining or whining, & you know when they start doing something they will finish it in the best you can imagine, such people end up in a high positions in their society & they generally have a very successful life.

Stupid People

Well,  just another post talking about people, not any kind of people! It is about the Stupid People, you are probably thinking now the Stupid People is the opposite to the Clever People, WRONG! Let me explain, first of all, from My prospective & in my humble opinion, people are of two types, the first type called Elite People & they will have their own post soon! the second type called the Stupid People.

There are two types of Stupid People, the first type is the people who don't do there work, not because they are lazy, but because they don't know how to do it, for example, imagine you give a doctor a programming task, he won't do it, simply because he don't know how to program, or imagine some want to drive without learning how to drive! eventually he won't be able to drive, simply, he doesn't know how to drive, this type of people are called "newbies" or "lowbies", however, they can learn & become either Elites or the second type of Stupid People (the dangerous type), those people just lack  knowledge and experience, no more no less.

Second type, the dangerous type, are those who do things, but they don't do it right, not because they lack the knowledge, infact, they know how to do it better, but they don't, because they fear if they did it right, they will have more responsibility, they hope their managers will give them less tasks and work, or give them the easy work  over time, they like to live with the least amount of responsibilities, thinking it is the easy way to live, however, they end up unreliable persons, no one can rely or count on them, ending up having less self satisfaction & less happiness in life as the opposite to what they though, they belive there is always some one who will do the work instead of them, and their managers will forgive, this kind of people generally don't success in life & don't get higher positions in their work, they end up like any person, with normal position, and has no ambtion!.

Second type is the most dangerous type, and there are many of them, they do not produce, and if they do, they produce the minimum.

Jaunty Jackalope & WebOS !

As you already know, I am a computer systems engineer, so my blog will have some information about the new technologies from time to time ;-).

I am going to start with the new operating system, Ubuntu 9.04, or Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope, the name came from a legendary American animal called Jackalope, which is a mix between deer and a killer Rabbit, anyway, the new operating system will  be released on April 23rd, the system looks very promising, with very high performance, 14 sec to boot up, 6 sec to shutdown and much more, the numbers are really good and it beats Windows Seven under all conditions, with Windows Seven on the door, some rumors say it will be released on the end of July, the competition will be strong, especially if Windows Seven turn out to be a new version of windows vista, which was pure failure, people for sure will consider other alternatives.

I myself didn't try it, but I am definitly going to, here a video showing Notification (one of the new features in Ubuntu 9.04):

The second thing I am going to talk about today is the new mobile operating system,which was announced by Palm Inc.,The announcement took a place at the Consumer  Electronics show, when they unvieled their new product Palm Pre, the new Palm runs the new operating system, WebOS.

WebOS sounds very promising, and the first impression is more than great, this OS took them more than five years of developments, and it was developed before the iPhone which runs MAC OX10, the new OS will definitely push the vendors to develop more intelligent operating systems.

Will this be the "iPhone killer"? Maybe, also it will compete with Android, as it supports duel touch unlike Android, on the other side Android is open source, which allows the developers to develop more complex programs such as 3D games.

Palm Inc. will release an SDK called Mojo SDK, and on April 1 2009, Palm announced the availability of Palm OS emulator.

Finally, before I forget, WebOS is got linux in the heart of it! and is going to be released at the first Quarter of 2009.

...Friends

Do you know what Friends mean? Because I no longer do. You spend most of your time with, more than your family, and then they stab you in the back, they act the next day like nothing happened. Maybe the word "Friends" has changed, and become this new term, maybe it had been always like this but we learned it the wrong way?!

Do you know what Friends mean? Because I no longer do. Where are those elites, the real Friends, who do things just because they love to do it, they give and never ask something in return, they treat you as a Friend! Is life became too hard so people are acting this way? or  it is in their nature?

Do you know what Friends mean? Because I no longer do. Our Friends, Our Enemies? Or not, at least you know your enemies, and you cannot blame them if they did something wrong to you, simply because they are your enemy...

Maybe we should live alone, maybe we have to learn how to abandon at any give time, maybe even more, who knows?!

The Three Musketeers

Or should I call them Salim, Jamal and Latika...

Muscles and brain, Athos and Prthos, Salim and Jammal, different names for one thing...success ! Two brothers did the impossible, both succeeded, each one on his own way, however, they did it together, they complete each others, they are... brothers.

Latika, that lovely lady, was left behind, and forced to live a life she do not want, but she didn't surrender, none of them did, and they all got what they want, what a wonderful movie, it takes you to a different level, and change your vision to this world, it is a must see movie.

I must say I was affected by Salim more than Jammal, maybe it is the feeling of power, being in control, or maybe because he took the dangerous way, the extraordinary way, I would call it the wrong way, but I just cannot, maybe I am wrong, maybe I am right, I am deeply confused.

Finally...My enemy's enemy is a friend.
